| Girovac completed a case study at the customer's works and designed 5 electrically refrigerated - 55°C traps. These were delivered on time, installed with modified pipework into the existing vacuum systems and successfully commissioned. The customer has told us that the traps "exceed their wildest expectations" and have afforded huge savings of money and time. Girovac has supplied this customer with a further 2 traps.

Girovac was asked to design and build a vacuum DEGAS system to process the customer's resin before impregnation. The result was a system, which combined a bespoke stainless vessel to hold the resin with a MIL'S single stage 0.5-mbar vacuum pump and a GVD2 cold trap to freeze out the vapours, which would have otherwise harmed the vacuum pump.
Customer reported that this system runs almost continuously - to
excellent effect.
Girovac has recently delivered 2 of our GVD2 cold traps to a company in Ireland. Both are performing well.
We have also been deeply involved in specifying and designing 6 large cold trap systems incorporating 4200 and 2600 m3/hr mechanical boosters and Kinney pumps. This was done for a major UK resin impregnating company. Orders have now been received for the first three systems.
